this is British Columbia’s resource centre for
business information and services.SPORTS AND YOUTH:

The Government funds sport and recreation at a provincial
level – through provincial and multi-sport recreation
organizations such as Soccer BC, PacificSport, BC
Special Olympics, etc. This funding is provided to
these organizations through a transfer of $6 million
to the 2010 Legacies Now Society. Funding from the
SportsFunder Lottery is also directed to provincial
and multi-sport organizations, which make specific
decisions on which groups or individuals receive funding.
